Instagram Releases Android Version: iPhone Elitists Think The World Is Ending

Gosh I really dislike iPhone vs. Android phones debates (and Mac vs. PC for that matter). There's no point in being sucked into one - no one ever wins. The people that annoy me the most are those elitists who bash the other side without actually using the other OS, yet they form judgment based on what everyone else is saying. What prompted today's post is the release of Instagram for Android earlier today. It sparked tons of ignorant comments from iPhone users. A lot of these comments are filled with hate, disappointment, and anger - such negative sentiment is caused by iPhone elitists thinking that iOS is better than Android. The fact that Instagram is no longer exclusive to iPhones somehow makes it a "terrible app", a "tragedy" and a cause to uninstall the app. Oh, drama. On Instagram's Facebook page, we find comments like these:

People really do care about this it seems. There is even a Twitter account dedicated to retweeting stupid comments from iPhone users.

How about we stop the silly drama and thank Instagram for providing an excellent service to more users? For free too. Stop using every excuse to start an iOS vs. Android debate.

Can't we all just be friends?

I don't even use a smartphone yet even tho I can afford one with ease. With my profession I have constant access to the internet anyway.

I recently saw Googles new project Glass http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=9c6W4CCU9M4
If that product is cheaper then a 2 year subscription to any smartphone I'm taking that, to get free calls and not get stuck on a shitty subscription with crap apps :)

As the guy behind AndroidAGram, I do agree with you. This really is idiotic and shouldn't have happened. I only made the account to make a collection of such idiocracy and make it a future point of reference.

Best thing to do is play with their emotions by trolling them. They deserve it. It reminds me of Super Nintendo vs Sega Genesis fights I used to have as a kid. Except we were 10 yeads old - and these are grown adults clamoring about how their toy is better than mine. Sad.
